Neil Etheridge gets debut start for Fulham in Europa League 2011
Azkals GK Etheridge, vice injured regular keeper Schwarzer , finally got his debut start as Fulham keeper against Danish team Odense BK in the Europa League group stage (12 Groups of 4 teams per Group ) last Dec. 14, 2011 (CET) !
How did Etheridge fare in his debut as a starter ?
Fulham was up 2-nil in the first half ( Dempsey, 27' and Frei, 32') until Etheridge conceded goals in the 64' from Andreasin and on that crucial header by Fall on the 90'+3 !

Fulham needed three points from that game to advance to the 32-team KO phase (top 2 teams of each group in the Group stage matches and 8 eliminated teams from the UEFA Champions League Group stage) but drew with Odense BK, 2-all! Unfortunately , with the draw, they bow out of the tournament losing by a point to Krakow!
