Sinag Pilipinas found a tough and stubborn Malaysian team which relied mostly on its formidable 3pt shooting in the first half! They only led by 3 at the half, 44-41 before pouring it all late in the 3rdQ with an excellent offensive running game and locking down defensively to finally silence the Malaysian gunners!
Sinag went on a 13-2 blast with 3:15 to go in the 3rdQ and score at 60-58 to finish the quarter at 73-60 They then limited Malaysia to a low 33 points in the entire second half while scoring 30 points of their own in the 4thQ alone!
Over all , Sinag dominated the game at the rebounding end (40-25) complemented with 21 assists (15 in the 2nd Half) compared to Malaysia's measly 9.
Sinag Piipinas will face the winner of the Indonesia-Thailand semis match in the Finals on Sunday, 8pm !
