Yesterday , I posted the most recent NBA standings and possible Playoff qualifiers! Sure, not everybody agreed with that post but , hey, that's just my opinion if the Playoffs were held today...so no argument there!
Today , we've got more basketball news for you !
First , the good news for all Filipino basketball fans!
Over at the ABL , from KL , our very own Air Asia Philippine Patriots repeated over the Westport KL Dragons and clinched the first Finals slot after edging the Dragons, 95-92, in Game 2 of their best of three series!.

Then , from Dubai , Smart Gilas Ph NT thumped Hoops-Lebanon ,86-69, in the 22nd Dubai International Basketball Tournament! Thus, Smart Gilas-Pilipinas barges into the Semis of the same Tournament for the second straight year and awaits for the results of the remaining quarterfinals games !
Yup , but that's only for San Miguel fans...over at the PBA , the Talk-n-Text Phone Pals beat the San Mig Beermen in Game 2 of their own best of 5 Finals series, 110-102, for an overwhelming 2 to nil lead! Sorry Beermen fans, seems like the MVP franchise got San Miguel's number this time and it's going to be a hard climb back from that sink hole...ohh , definitely , the third game is going to be W-A-R!
