AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 Semis- Leg 1 : Ph Azkals vs Indonesia!
The Azkals face powerhouse Indonesia tonight in Jakarta for the first leg of their semis series in what should have been a "home" game for the Philippines!
In the other semis duel which was played last night, in KL's Bukit Jalil Stadium , underdog Malaysia relied on an almost perfect game anchored on a highly organized and well disciplined defense to upset two-time and defending champion Vietnam , 2-0!
Our NT faces a tough Indonesian team and a very hostile hometown crowd of 90,000 or more in gigantic Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta very much aware that the Azkals have never beaten the Merah Putih (or the Red & Whites) in any AFF nor Asean match! In 2003 , it can be recalled that our side suffered a 1-13 trashing from Indonesia ,so you can imagine the great odds our team is up ahead!
The Ph Azkals vs Indonesia match can be seen live on Star Sports and Studio23 starting at 7:30pm tonight (including the pregame analysis) but game starts at 8pm!
