Lyrics to Gloria In Excelsis Deo :

Sopra i cieli e ancor più sù
dolci canti gli angeli
e dai monti fin qua giù
portan gioia ai deboli

Gloria in excelsis Deo
Gloria in excelsis Deo

A Betlem correte
adorate il Redentor
e da lui cantate
quello che vi dice il cuor

Gloria in? excelsis Deo
Gloria in excelsis Deo
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing over the plains
And the mountains in reply,
Echoing their joyous strains.
Gloria
In excelsis Deo
Gloria
In excelsis Deo

Gloria In Excelsis Deo lyrics at Christmas-Songs.Org:

Gloria in excelsis deo
Et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis
Laudamus te
Benedicimus te
Adoramus te
Glorificamus te
Gratias agimus tibi propter magnam gloriam tuam
Domine Deus, Rex caelestis, Deus Pater omnipotens
Domine fili unigenite, Jesu Christe
Domine Deus, Agnus Dei, Filius patris
Qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis
Qui tollis peccata mundi suscipe deprecationem nostram
Qui sedes ad dexteram patris miserere nobis
Quoniam tu solus sanctus
Tu solus Dominus
Tu solus Altissimus, Jesu Christe
Cum Sancto Spiritu in gloria Dei Patris.
Amen.

English

Glory to God in the highest
And on earth peace to people of good will
We praise you
We bless you
We adore you
We glorify you
We give thanks to you for your great glory
Lord God, Heavenly King, God Almighty Father
Lord Only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ
Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father
You who take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us
You who take away the sins of the world, hear our prayer
You who sit at the Father's right hand, have mercy on us
For you alone are holy
You alone, Lord
You alone the Most High, Jesus Christ
With the Holy Spirit in the glory of God the Father.
Amen.

Today's Christmas Song

This is one of my childhood favorites...we were little drummer boys once , haven't we? Bing Crosby and David Bowie , a study of contrast : style, influence and  age!  Can't find their version on lyrics mode though so I just used the one by Jars of Clay...

"White Christmas" by Bing Crosby

Today's Christmas Song

"White Christmas"   by Bing Crosby

The song White Christmas is undoubtedly the most famous and popular of all the Christmas songs. The music and lyrics for White Christmas were written by Irving Berlin in 1942 and originally featured in the movie "Holiday Inn"  starring Bing Crosby. The lyrics of White Christmas struck a chord with the soldiers fighting in the Second World War and their families who were waiting for them back home.
