While most of us go overseas to earn enough to bring affluent living to our families, some choose to stay in our country and explore different career opportunities. One of the bases for salary offer is the years of experiences of the employee. Last year Jobstreet published a report on top 10 highest paying specializations in the country.

This year, Jobstreet recently released their report of the top 10 highest paying jobs. Check out for the report categorized based on the number of years of experiences. Please take note that data show the average monthly basic salary and does not include allowances and other benefits. For those who are currently employed, may this serve as a guide to assess if your salary is what’s being offered across the industry. For job seekers, may this guide you which industry you would like to be a part of.

 

 

For Fresh Graduates


If you are a graduate of Finance, Banking, or other related courses, you are on the right track with an average monthly salary of Php17, 503. If you have a background on Legal / Law or any equivalent field, this industry is on the no. 9 field with an average offer of PHP 16,845.00. Technology related courses always have something good to offer even to fresh graduates at no. 3 & 5 spot with the average offer of PHP 18,963 for Computer / IT (Hardware) and Computer / IT (Software) respectively. Travel and Tourism also offer a lucrative spot with an average offer of PHP 20,629. Customer Service is one of the popular jobs among graduates today at no. 7 spot with an average monthly salary of PHP 17,711.

For 1-4 Years of Experience


For employees with 1-4 yrs of working experiences, hurray to the installers of pipes to supply gas to homes and businesses for being on the number 1 spot. Aircraft maintenance shows a great promise for career growth. From being on the no. 8 spot for fresh graduates, up to the no.2 spot for experienced employees.  Other technology-related jobs like IT, Instrumentation and Tech Support consecutively got no.3 to no.5 spots respectively. Jobs that involve social communications are on the next two spots such as Journalists and Public Relations. Down to the bottom of the list is another great job that prepares costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.

The top 5 spots down to #10 are all business-related jobs except for science related experts in microbiology in the #6 spot.
