SWS (So Wrong Surveys) and False Asia election surveys

Oooops...

According to the latest SWS and False Asia Presidential preferences surveys barely a week to go to the Presidential Elections , we see Villar sliding alarmingly , in fact to just third in the False Asia survey while Erap has either tied or overtaken him! Surely, this is not very welcome news for Villar who has worked so hard and poured so much money into his sagging campaign to overhaul Noynoy but finding himself still trailing all the more! If the trend continues 'til election day , then that will be tragic to Villar and his business empire! But that's another story...

Panic has certainly crept in the Villar camp though they definitely wouldn't admit that. The question now is which panic button now are they going to push? Will the money button still be enough to solve their woes? Will dirty tricks group takeover and pull out all the stops to a monstrous demolition job against all rivals or just a singular rival?

Erap ,on the other hand has gained what Villar has scuttled in percentage points! Good for Erap because he can now push the attack buttons against erstwhile front runner Noynoy! Which button will Erap press? The money button to flood the market come election day? In the first place , does he still have the cash to catapult his campaign to the finish line over rivals? Or will Erap press his dirty tricks button dangerously trained now at Noynoy now that Villar has been waylaid through black propaganda?

This is where the surveys from So Wrong Surveys and False Asia have been crucial to Erap's campaign. The perceived gains of Erap as seen in the surveys have certainly bolstered his chances particularly in the homestretch which is just the right time... but whether people will really vote for him is another story!

A steady but surely gaining ground is Gibo who has gone up to 9 percentage points as of the latest surveys...if you believe the surveys! But if you don't believe in what the surveys say , chances are it's Gibo who's going to be our next President!That's another former Secretary of National Defense who made it as President after Magsaysay and Ramos...but which button will Gibo press? In my opinion , no need ! So far he's been doing the right moves---clean campaign and within the bounds of decency and laws!He will just continue what he's been doing...better!

You see , if the surveys are to be believed, it's now between Noynoy and Erap in the fight for number 1!But surveys are done by people and that's the dark side of it!
In endeavors like these , one can not discount the impartiality, incompetence and biases of the fieldworkers...these may be manifested in the manner by which questions may be asked or which question to ask from whom? For example , there have been reports from far flung provincial barangays that questions are phrased like , " if the elections are held today , who would you vote between ER__ and No__?" Queried as to what about the other candidates , the "surveyors" simply reply, " ohh forget them , it's now between him or he!" or statements to that effect! It's the old age human factor that comes into play that distorts a scientific process! I may be wrong but it's a reality in the field!

So if you still believe surveys, not only should you consider the people behind the all-powerful survey firms but also the tools- seen or unseen- that are utilized to secretly favor certain parties for certain considerations--- hard realities in the business world though they-the surveys groups- may claim to be non-profit!.

Alas , no matter where or how you look at them , surveys are for business purposes!
And survey firms are there for the business gains ...

But nobody will accept that !
