Manchester City edges United for Top Spot
An injury time header by Kompany ('45+1) in the first half, gave City a 1-0 win over rival United !
This was their 163rd meeting and City wins its 45th in the Derby against cross-town rival. Moreover, it was a win in a match that mattered most for the 2012 Premier League Title,no less !
Thus , City ties the Red Devils at 83 points but leaps on top of the League by virtue of its more superior goal difference record!
Barring any more surprises or miracles , the win may have given Manchester City its first ever Premier League Championship with two matches left !
