Dallas Mavericks take Game 3 for 3-0 lead in 2011 Western Conference Semis Series
The LA Lakers are in a deep hole now as they fall for the 3rd straight time to the Dallas Mavs in G3 of their Western Conference Semis best of 7 series! The hole is so deep the Lakers may not be able to come back to defend their Western Conference championship and , even the NBA crown for the 3rd straight year!
Not that they are playing bad except that Dallas is playing even a lot better , as if they are the three-time champs!
With the team down 0-3 and G4 still to be played in Dallas, their chances are very slim...note that no NBA team has ever came back from 0-3 in any 7-game series! That is , odds are great that Dallas would move on to the Western Conference Finals . If ever , the Lakers will be the first NBA team to make that very improbable comeback from 0-3 in a 7-game series.
Not if the Mavericks can help it , if you ask Dirk Nowitski ;and , he adds that they are "going to finish it on Sunday ( Monday here) in G4 at home".
This early , I would say, adios Lakers ...maybe next year?
