Von Wafer got a rare chance to start a game against the Wizards in the last stretch of the 2010-2011 NBA Regular season!
In OT , when the game was on the line , Wafer thought he got a winner of a dunk and celebrated his "feat" too soon!
Fact is , he screwed an easy dunk then bumped teammate Jermaine O'Neal who got the ball after his missed dunk.Unfortunately , O'Neal was called for double-dribble which gave the Wizards a crucial ball possession!
In the end , the Wizards won by a hairline, 95-94!
This boo-boo by Wafer not only cost the Celtics the game but probably also an Eastern Conference finals this year!
Talk about blowing one's chance at stardom...will the Celtics want him back next season?
