Azkals Update : GK Neil Etheridge

Yup ! News have been circulating very recently that Azkals GK Neil Etheridge might not be able to play in the 2nd leg of the Phl vs Mongolia  AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers! In a guesting on this evening's TV Patrol , striker Phil Younghusband revealed that it's possible that Neil Etheridge might not make it to Ulan Bator due to club commitments at Fulham FC of the English Premier League!

Subsequently , in another TV guesting at ANC's Rundown with Ces Drilon , striker Chieffy Caligdong also expressed the same sentiment as Phil Younghusband! Both players though agreed that while Etheridge's absence might be a big loss for the team in their Mongolia leg , they are confident that with or without their Fulham keeper, the team is still pretty solid and have a capable reliever in Ilonggo Eduard Sacapano of the Philippine Army and  from Bago City!

Meanwhile , Fulham FC takes pride in the excellent performance of  Etheridge during the Phl Azkals' 2-nil victory over Mongolia in their AFC Challenge Cup qualifying match - Leg 1 last Feb. 9 in Bacolod's Pana-ad Park and Stadium!
