Today's Song : "Moon River"  from the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's"


I have to admit that I have yet to see the movie BUT , no doubt about it , I like this song written by Johnny Mercer and  music by Henry Mancini.

Audrey Hepburn sang the  original and movie version in 1961 . There are other beautiful versions of the song  though from Frank Sinatra , Andy Williams, Trini Lopez ,Barbra Streisand, Shirley Bassey  and Sarah Brightman , among others!

I posted a video version of the song with Mancini on piano ;and, the Sinatra version of its lyrics and video (which unfortunately was disabled already ).
